Dr Nataša Pantić is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, School of Education. She is currently the Director of the Centre for Research in Education Inclusion and Diversity. Her recent research has focused on teachers acting as agents of change in contexts of diversity, educational inequalities, citizenship and migration. She has published extensively in a number of international journals and other publications.

Over two decades she has led and participated in numerous research and reform projects, both as an academic, and in various consultancy roles for international organisations. She joined the University of Edinburgh in 2012 as a Chancellor's Fellow. Before joining the University of Edinburgh Nataša has worked with the Centre for Education Policy in Belgrade and Utrecht University where she completed her doctoral study on teacher education and development in changing contexts of education.

She has collaborated with education policy makers and practitioners in twelve countries to support evidence-informed improvements of education policies and practices, especially empowerment of teachers as reflective practitioners and researchers.

Before embarking on a research career Nataša worked in Education and Democratisation departments of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1998, and intermittently as an English teacher in two secondary schools.
